Our Approach
Every engagement follows the same framework. Technology choices come after we understand your business. We sell outcomes — hours are used internally to estimate cost and plan resources.
- 01 · Discover
Understand the business: goals, existing systems, pain points, workshops, and process documentation.
- 02 · Design
Architecture, API and data mapping, technical design, security review, and a project roadmap.
- 03 · Build
Development, integrations, infrastructure, testing, and documentation — production-minded increments.
- 04 · Launch
Deploy to production with training, knowledge transfer, and acceptance testing.
- 05 · Operate
Monitoring, security, updates, support, enhancements, and reporting — long-term management.
Pricing philosophy
Skyline does not primarily sell hours. We sell outcomes. Pricing reflects business value, complexity, risk, timeline, expertise, and ongoing support — not a stopwatch.
Software ownership models
Depending on the engagement, we may structure work as client-owned development, shared investment, or a Skyline product.
Client-owned development
You fund the project and own the intellectual property (subject to contract).
Shared investment
Reduced project cost; Skyline may retain ownership and commercialize. Negotiated benefits can include revenue sharing, founding-customer pricing, or roadmap influence.
Skyline product
Skyline develops and owns the product. Customers purchase setup, licensing, subscription, and support.
AI & existing application services
Many clients already have applications built with AI or rapid prototyping. We professionally transition those into production-ready software.
- Application assessment
- Stabilization
- Architecture review
- Security hardening
- Productization
- Ongoing application management
