Skyline Information Systems is a growing technology consulting company specializing in Microsoft cloud solutions, ERP systems, custom software, API integrations, cybersecurity, automation, and AI-powered business solutions. We deliver for US and North American clients alongside projects in Morocco and other markets. Client communication and project delivery for this role are in English.

About the role

You will build and maintain business applications, backend services, REST APIs, and integrations between ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and other business systems. You will also help establish how Skyline organizes repositories, reviews code, tests, deploys, and supports production — working closely with our Solutions Architect, Project Manager, Functional Consultant, and Cloud Administrator.

Core responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications, backend services, and REST APIs
• Integrate ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and third-party systems with validation, logging, and safe retries
• Design relational data models and efficient SQL queries
• Help establish Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, and release practices
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and production maintenance with the Cloud Administrator
• Collaborate on estimates and technical designs; mentor future developers as the team grows
• Participate in English-language client discovery, demos, and documentation

Required qualifications

• About 4+ years of professional software development (flexible for strong practical capability)
• Strong backend skills in C#/.NET, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or Python
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL databases
• Understanding of authentication, validation, and application security
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and production deployments
• Strong spoken and written English for client discussions and documentation
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred experience

• C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• React, Next.js, or TypeScript on the front end
• ERP/CRM, retail, e-commerce, or payment integrations
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / AL (training provided if needed)
• Experience mentoring developers or improving engineering workflows
